The Creators

Below you will find the names of the gods and goddesses who created and shaped the world of Wraithvale. Belief in their influence, or if they ever existed at all, varies from person to person. For the most part belief, or lack thereof, is a passing issue amongst Sentients. It is not something to fight or go to war over. Also below are some common ways to worship them. Intent is the key between one simply doing an action and it being done in reverence to one of The Creators. (OOG: If you want your character to be a worshiper of one of these beings it will be helpful if you let Plot know what actions you are taking to dedicate to them)

(More to come here, please excuse our dust as Plot continues to shape the world of Wraithvale)

Balathus

God of Binds Made and Broken

Worship of Balathus occurs mainly in Midworld, where the striking of binding deals occurs beneath statues of the God to ensure they will be kept. While Balathus' power grows regardless of if these agreements are fulfilled or not those who make agreements with Balathus as witness often find themselves more accident prone and with surprising complications thrown into their plans after they have betrayed their vow.

Lost Name

The Lady of Chaos

Worshiping The Lady of Chaos is not particularly common, often she is simply thanked when something particularly chaotic happens to someone, lest things escalate. Those who do wish to seek the blessing of The Lady of Chaos often take pains to inconvenience themselves or act in ways that confuse those they know well.

Iona

Goddess of Sun and Seasons

Kaeliph

Goddess of Mercy and Fortune, Both Good and Ill

The Lady Kaeliph is seen by many as a fickle goddess, her moods unpredictable and her blessings questionable. Those who follow her closely would argue that perhaps you simply did not actually know what was best for you. Caring for the sick or in need, flipping a coin, and wishing on shooting stars are common forms of reverence.

Meripropile

Goddess of Death and New Beginnings

The duality of Meripropile causes conflicting feelings about this Goddess. Many fear death and so in some places she is reviled while others understand that she also represents the possibility of starting over and should not be feared. Popular forms of worship are to plant a garden and feed it with compost and other decaying matter as well as small gestures such as removing bugs from a building instead of killing them.

Mystria

Goddess of Secrets and Legends

A lore Goddess steeped in her own mystery, barely more is known about her than about The Lady of Chaos. It is believed that she loves stories so if you tell them she may be listening. Common forms of worship for Mystria are writing in a journal, recording events for future scholars, and uncovering lost or hidden knowledge.

Natesis

Deity of Balance and Union

Those who believe in or worship Natesis understand that there is a balance to all things and tending to that balance allows the world to continue to function as intended. It is often priest(esses) of Natesis who oversee wedding ceremonies.

Ryuna

Deity of Lost and Forgotten Things

Ryuna is a fairly uncommon goddess in Wraithvale, primarily being worshiped by the Erebidae. If there is something that an Erebidae no longer needs they will often lose carry it on themselves poorly secured so that they may lose it, usually they do this somewhere publicly so that someone else may find the forgotten item and hopefully find new purpose for it.

Seesis and Cadesis

The Dreaming Siblings

The Realm of Dreams is a mysterious place of both joy and fright. Somewhere in these lands dream Seesis and Cadesis, sleeping twins who keep this place and the creatures in it existing. People who worship The Dreaming Siblings will sleep with lavender or other herbs meant to promote good sleep beneath their pillows or hanging over their bed.

Vondra

The Fated Three

Weavers of Fate and Reality

Pictured interchangeably as three women or one woman with three faces. They are believed to weave The Tapestry of Fate, their purpose to sew seeds of joy and sorrow, and to cut out rot when the time comes. Whatever may be necessary to ensure that Fate remains on its proper course.

Those choosing to worship the three usually do so by singing songs, meditating on subjects such as one's purpose, and starting new journeys.
